Rita-Tee Shirt 1:1
Graduating from UQAM (Montreal) and ECAL (Lausanne) in graphic and industrial design, Karine Corbeil and Stéphane Halmai-Voisard embody Rita since 2004. Rita is now based in Montreal and Lausanne.
Rita tries to touch people in what they have in common through a playful functionalism. Very attached to her Quebec roots, Rita loves log cabins, plaid jackets and Sorel boots.
Her projects are published in various national and international magazines (Frame/Etapes/Experimenta) and monographs (Gestalten/Victionary/Birkhauser) devoted exclusively to design and have been shown worldwide in major cities such as Washington, Paris, Milan and Seoul.
“These T-shirts are printed with every day items and accessories, the way they’re worn. Our debut series, “Beverly Hills 1980s-style”, includes a classic Walkman, roller skates, Ray-Ban shades and luckily a holster, complete with a gun.”
