Montreal based, SSSVLL is a design practice active in a wide range of fields: jewelry and furniture, as well as interactive installations, exhibitions and architectural interventions. SSSVLL was slowly built by Guillaume Sasseville while he was working for almost a decade in archictecture as a senior designer for Saucier+Perrotte Architectes. Graduated from the Montreal’s Design School in 2001 with a BA Environment Design, Guillaume is known for his unique approach to products, especially exemplified through his latest project ‘Resized’. He is also curator of ‘Carton Jaune’, a design competition, now in its 2nd edition, that looks into the subversion of everyday behaviors.

This line of rings is based on experiments made to plastic rings from Montréal’s Chinatown market. The experiments re-cuts the objects inside prisms, bringing them to the limit of loosing function and meaning.
