6.1
6.1 is a new multidisciplinary design collective based in Québec City, focusing mainly on furniture and small objects. Established in 2010 by Claudia Després and Jeremy Couture, two industrial designers, 6.1 creates furniture that calls for interaction in order to discover its qualities and features. 6.1 focuses on the link connecting the user to the product. The T1 seating and storage system, made of solid maple and part of the T Collection, is an example of 6.1’s design philosophy. Every piece is made in limited editions in Québec.
